Hi, I’m Tey.
Founder of Noir & Ivory.
From the very beginning, my husband and I prioritized travel in our relationship. We weren't chasing a bucket list or trying to keep up with the Joneses, we simply realized that something happens when you take two people out of their routines and drop them somewhere new together. You remember who you actually are to each other.
THE BEST VERSION OF US HAPPENS SOMEWHERE NEW.
I've built Noir & Ivory to help others experience the same. From the honeymoon that has to count, to the anniversary that needs to be more than just a dinner and the family trip everyone actually wants to be on, we build the trips that carry weight.
Whether you're a detail-oriented planner who wants a true partner, new to traveling this way, or you'd simply rather not, we've got you.
You bring the occasion and we'll handle the rest.
MY Story
Prior to starting Noir & Ivory, I spent over 15 years in tech startups. It was fast, exciting, and demanding in equal measure. Travel was always my reset, the one thing that actually pulled me out of the work. Being an executive in that space meant real breaks were rare, and logging off to explore somewhere new became how I filled my life with the kind of balance that actually lasts. I know how much these moments matter because I've needed them myself. Not just for me, but for my relationship and my family.
I've taken over 30 international trips, visited more than 15 countries, and lived in the United Kingdom for a stretch. Travel is part of who I am. I'm here to help you plan and execute one of life's greatest resets, one vacation at a time.

Frequently Asked Questions

The reality is, you can absolutely book a trip yourself. Everyone can. The difference is what happens around the booking: the upgrades that you’ll have priority access to (yes, even over those booking directly and using a premium travel card), the amenities, the room that actually has the view, the on-the-ground support if something goes sideways. We handle it all.
-
Nope! Hotels pay us a commission for the bookings we send their way, that's how we get paid on the booking side. In most cases, you’ll see the same best available rate whether you’re booking directly or through us. The difference? Through us, you get the perks you may not qualify for booking directly.
Our planning fee covers the research, design and curation work that happens before anything is booked. -
A curated destination proposal built around your travel style, vision, and budget. If you decide to move forward into full planning, the $50 is credited toward your planning fee. If you don't, you walk away with a thoughtful recommendation either way.

Couples travel, broadly. Honeymoons, anniversaries, babymoons, vow renewals, milestone birthdays, and the trips that don't have a name beyond "we both need this." If it's a trip for two (or a small group built around couples), we plan it.

This is genuinely a “yes, and”. Yes and you should keep using your card. Programs like Amex Fine Hotels & Resorts offer real perks. But when we book your stay, your reservation is placed through the hotel's own preferred partner program, which carries higher upgrade priority than credit card portals. Use your card to pay and collect your points. Let us place the reservation so you're actually first in line for the upgrade.
-
Unfortunately, I can't book hotels using points; however, points usually hit hardest on flights so that's where I'll always point you to use them.
On the hotel side, if you have cards that pair well with specific brands, we'll factor that in. For example: Heading to Tokyo with a Hilton Aspire card? Conrad Tokyo is going on your shortlist. That way you stack your card benefits with the perks I layer on top.
-
Mostly no and that's intentional. Commercial flights are where your points and credit cards typically deliver the most value, so you'll get more out of booking those yourself.
The exception is semi-private and private aviation. If JSX fits your route, or you're considering chartering for the trip, I can handle that side. Just let me know.

Planning fees are non-refundable once work has started — that's standard across the industry. Hotel cancellation policies vary by property and we'll always walk you through the terms before you confirm a booking. Travel insurance is something we'll talk about during planning.

We've got you. If you're staying at one of our preferred luxury partner hotels, we can either book the stay for you or attach to a reservation you've already made at no cost to you. You arrive as a VIP guest with upgrades and amenities the hotel reserves for advisor-booked clients.
-
When you've already booked a hotel directly and we step in to layer on the VIP perks. The hotel pays us, you pay nothing extra, and you get treated like the kind of guest you came to be. A few constraints: we can't take over points bookings, non-refundable rates already inside the cancellation window, or bundled flight-and-hotel packages.

Nope. Couples travel is our focus, but we book travel for anyone. A lot of our clients start as a honeymoon, come back for a babymoon, and then it's family trips and multi-gen travel from there. We’re here for all of it, Maui with the kids included.
